As a child, growing up with the forest and farm at my fingertips led to a life surrounded by WILDlife. North East Connecticut's agriculture and vast woodland fueled my love for creature of all kind. From wild raspberry picking behind the house on hikes with the dogs (...and cat) to visits at the family farm and vet clinic, the WILD was woven into my DNA from the start. After dreams of joining the veterinary care industry seemed out of reach, I made the move to NYC in hopes of life paving its own way. Even with other avenues on the horizon pet care fell right into my lap! On a whim I started working at a local pet store, initially just cleaning kennels. As the pets found homes, I continued care when their families went on vacations by having them by my side in my own home. Gradually my love for each and every pets health and happiness grew to my priority. My purpose was clear after accepting an offer at a near by vet hospital. From then on, I vowed to dedicate my life to the WILD ones. As Boarding Facility manager I had a blast throwing events and parties while also trying to accommodate every pet no matter their quirks. As a vet technician I learned how important medical care was to each fur babies' quality of life. Everything blended together in created my current profession. Whether you need a helping hand while away or a quick visit at home, your pet is in caring hands. My love is for all, even the WILD. Those who feel their pet comes with challenges (medical or behavioral) when in the care of another, I am determined in assisting any way possible by creating comfort where you may never believe was possible. Motivated by a passion for animals and deep understanding of pet care, I continue to serve a growing client base and expand our service offerings to meet their needs.
